Q) How much will my watch repair cost?This is one of our most common watch repair questions. Every timepiece is different and so are the issues that they face over time. To find out how much your watch repair or servicing will cost, please fill out our free quotation form to explain the issues your watch is experiencing. We will review your information and respond with a quote based on your particular needs. Q) Can I post my watch to you? YES! We receive many watches via post or courier. If sending via courier, send to our street address:- 12 Elgin Cres, Bundall QLD 4217. Be sure to send registered and include insurance if it's a treasured item. Pack securely with plenty of padding and protection. Q) Do you service, repair and restore Rolex watches? YES! Bruno the Watchmaker is a trusted Rolex repair specialist on the Gold Coast. He has been providing Rolex repair services and servicing luxury watches for many years. The RMW workshop has the latest tools and the necessary pressure testing equipment to ensure your Rolex is serviced, repaired and resealed correctly. RMW also provides Rolex watch repairs and servicing for older classic/vintage Rolex models. From Rolex battery replacement to screen repairs, Bruno has a wealth of experience in Rolex watch repairs and restoration. Q) How often should my watch be serviced? In order for a watch to function optimally, it needs to be serviced in a regular manner. The interval between each service is around 4-5 years.
Q) How often should I replace the battery in my watch?Battery change for a quartz watch is necessary every two years. This is done in order to avoid acid leaks from the battery, which can destroy the circuit module.
Q) How often should my watch be inspected and tested for water resistance?The regularity of testing and inspecting a watch for water resistance would depend on how the watch is used and its exposure to moisture. As a general rule, quartz watches need to be checked every time the battery is replaced. This would be every two years. It is essential to do this often because water resistance is not lasting. There may be some cracks, or the gasket may get old or dry, thus failing to seal and protect the watch from pressure. Q? Waterproof watch ratings and what do they mean? No marking, not waterproof = the watch must also be protected from splash water, it must not get wet.3 ATM = Water resistant 30 metres. Splash-proof: The watch is protected from splashes such as rain, must not be immersed in water, and must not be used in swimming or sauna.5 ATM = Water resistant 50 metres. limited waterproof: The watch can be used in humid conditions, eg in surface water. In principle, you can swim, but it is not recommended. Can be worn in a shower.10 ATM = Waterproof 100 metres: suitable for surface swimming and snorkelling, not scuba diving. 20 ATM = Special waterproof 200 metres: Suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports.Diver’s 1000+m (100+ ATM)- Suitable for diving and professional marine activity.
Q) Should I keep my watch on in the shower?No, It is recommended that a water-resistant watch be taken off when in the shower. Hot water soap and shampoo may help clean the watch, but it tends to seep through to the seals deteriorating them and causing them to the point of failure
Q) Do you accept credit cards?Yes, we accept most credit cards.
Q) Do you repair fake or replica watches?No, Repair My Watch does not repair fake or replica watches.
Q) Will my watch repair be guaranteed?Repair My Watch provides a limited one-year warranty on workmanship and parts. If your watch is dropped or damaged or gets rusty generally the watch is not covered under warranty, however we will try to work with you to get your watch back in service since you are a valued customer!
